Syngenta Customer Marketing Manager in Morocco

ROLE PURPOSE * The guardian and shaper of the commercial unit “Go to Market”, ensuring it is appropriate, effective and implemented. * Lead the development and sustenance of an efficient and effective customer marketing team that drives excellence in customer segmentation & campaign execution to achieve business objectives * Builds market intelligence to enable the development & implementation of innovative business models which will include greater grower and retailer intimacy. * Implement processes to allow the effectiveness of campaign and marketing efforts to be measured. * Manages the commercial unit portfolio process, ensuring that opportunities and needs are highlighted to Territory Crop & Technical teams. ACCOUNTABILITIES * Key member of the Commercial Unit Leadership Team bringing a grower centric view / perspective & ensuring decisions are aligned with the commercial unit GTM * To lead the development of an effective commercial unit Customer Marketing function * To act as the link between the commercial unit and the above territory teams as needed * To drive key marketing processes with special attention to campaign, portfolio management & SmartPLAN and Synpac * The conversion of crop solutions (assets and combinations of assets or services) into appropriate offers delivered through campaigns * Working with Territory Customer Marketing to develop, test and scale innovative business models and cross crop offers to efficiently increase sustainable sales * Working with Sales & the Territory Pricing Manager to ensure effective value pricing is carried out and that appropriate commercial terms are implemented to deliver on budget & GTM objectives * Delivers market plans and analysis to support budgeting and strategic reviews Business Accountabilities * Owns and drive effective alignment regular Marketing Committee meetings * Ensures implementation and alignment of the commercial units GTM * Lead grower, channel & value chain segmentation process * Define marketing communications strategy (e.g., media mix, budget allocation across services, etc.) * Prioritise campaigns and resource allocation in line with the strategy & oversee their execution * Review campaign effectiveness, during & post season, against objectives. Utilising Salesforce.com as a key tool for monitoring and improving effectiveness * Ensure delivery of grower and channel value proposition through the creation of offers incl. incentives in line with GTM. * Coaching and capability development of customer marketing function. * Through a market intelligence process, size (SmartPLAN), generate and prioritize customer insights and needs.
